Hey
all, name's Amanda but all of my mates call me Moo, (yes....like
a cow), not because I look like a cow or anything (or is it?) but
its what I called myself when I was a rugrat. I love watching footy
with beers (caarrn west coast! - dont tease me I've heard them all),
love heading out on the town with the girls for a few bevvs when
the mood strikes (the mood always strikes), a bit of 'Singstar'
before town never goes astray, also love riding quads, skiing, shooting,
fishing and camping with my loverrr Matt.
I know 'hate' is a strong word, but I really hate the dentist (no
offense if you ARE a dentist but dude...seriously u suck), hate
early starts, fake and rude people, pumpkin, Lindsay Lohan and winter.
Here's some stuff about me... I'm a pretty average girl, but hey...you've
come this far.
FULL NAME? Amanda Pernechele (yep... dad's dad was a big Italian
wog)
WHERE WERE YOU BORN? Swan View, Perth, W.A.
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP? Perth until I was 14... so have been here
in the stinkin hot territory (of which I love) for...well, I'm not
telling you how old I am.
HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED IN RADIO? 18
WHATS UR FAVORITE FOOD? Pasta, hot dogs and gummy bears. (Clearly
not all mashed together, that would be disgusting, but possibly
something our tech here at the station, Rob would eat).
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THE TERRITORY? The weather, the nightly drunken
antics - (our bottlo's are open til 10pm...most other states 9,
another 'pro' about the Top End), I also love the people, the camping
and the kick arse barra fishing.
WHAT SUBURB DO YOU CALL HOME? Alawalawaa.
FAVORITE DARWIN NIGHT SPOT? One..? are you kidding me? If we're
not talkin bout a mates house, Uh.. Monsoons, Ducks Nuts, Discovery,Throb..I
guess I drink at the usual suspects..
FAVORITE DARWIN EATING PLACE? If I'm in the mood for a bit of cow
usually Hog's Breath Cafe, but I love La Beach, Bella Amore and
Sea Dogs in Cullen Bay. mmmmmm seafood good, ya?
WHAT OTHER STATIONS HAVE YOU WORKED FOR? This'd be just about all
of them mate. (i'm pretty much the least experienced out of the
lot....thats why I get teased..
