Croc threat keeps Manton Dam closed

CROC WARNING AAP

Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife say Manton Dam will remain closed to watersports until at the least end of the month, with higher than average rainfall delaying crocodile surveys.

Rangers say a small saltie was pulled from the Dam last month, but a larger crocodile spotted back in November still hasn't been trapped and flooding has increased the chances of more crocodiles entering the waterway undetected.

Manton Dam is still open for boating and fishing.
