Nitmiluk Gorge in Katherine has officially reopened for canoeing and swimming following heavy rainfall.
The gorge was closed following late season rains, with rangers working hard to prepare the site for visitors.
Works included Croc surveys, trail maintenance, fire management and general site upkeep.

Overnight canoeing to fourth, sixth and ninth Gorge is now also open.
