A 14-year-old boy has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault on the Tiwi Islands.
Police were called after 12pm on Sunday (July 6), following reports a woman had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male in Wurrumiyanga.
A 14-year-old boy has now been arrested, charged with a string of offences including sexual intercourse without consent.

He’s also facing charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.
He is set to face court today (July 8).
