The 2025 Katherine Rodeo has been cancelled less than 2 weeks before it was supposed to start.
One of the biggest events in the town was supposed to take place on September 6.
Rodeo Promotions NT saying the event clashes with the Big Rivers AFL grand finals held at the show grounds.

“We have been trying to reschedule another date for Katherine, but we just couldn’t get everyone lined up as everyone being booked out for the rest of 2025,” organisers say.
“We are working on a date for next year that is better suited for the Katherine region.”
