Investigations are underway after a police car allegedly rear-ended a motorbike in Palmerston.
The incident happened on Driver Avenue at around 10:30 yesterday morning (January 20), where it’s alleged an unmarked police vehicle hit the back of a motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike was thrown onto the road and has since been taken to hospital.

Alcohol and drug tests on the driver returned negative readings.
Investigations into the incident underway.
