NAIDOC Week 2026 kicks off in Darwin with the Deadly Cup Rugby Carnival, to be held at Richardson’s Oval on Sunday 5 July from 10:00 am. Dozens of representative NRL teams will battle it out in a series of matches – Indigenous All Star teams will go head-to-head against the Territory All Stars. The day combines sport, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and health promotion. Danila Dilba Health Service also host the Deadly Walkabout event on the day – come and learn how to live your best life for a chance to win some deadly prizes!
