Sombr Announces 2027 Australia and New Zealand Arena Tour
American singer-songwriter Sombr will return to Australia and New Zealand in April 2027, stepping up to arenas for the first time in the region on his ‘You Are The Reason Tour.’
Sombr shared a post on his instagram saying:

The Australia and New Zealand leg of the You Are The Reason Tour, which supports I Barely Know Her and additional new material, consists of five arena dates:

The New York artist, born Shane Michael Boose, first visited in December 2025 on The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour. Those headline dates at venues including Auckland Town Hall, Melbourne’s Festival Hall, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall sold out, alongside appearances at Spilt Milk Festival. The 2027 run denotes a significant jump in scale.
Sombr’s rise has been rapid. After early viral success with “Caroline,” he broke through globally with singles including “Back to Friends,” “Undressed”, and “12 to 12.” His 2025 debut album I Barely Know Her earned broad acclaim and a Best New Artist nomination at the Grammy Awards, along with an MTV VMA win for Best Alternative Video. He has continued releasing music in 2026, including “Homewrecker,” “Potential”, and “My Body Isn’t Ready.”
The You Are The Reason Tour is Sombr’s first major arena run, already spanning North America in 2026 with later European dates. The Australian and New Zealand shows will give local fans their first chance to see the theatrical, high-energy live show that has drawn comparisons to a mix of classic showmanship and contemporary alt-pop in larger rooms.
