NT's Battle of the School Bands
The territory's most talented music students will battle it out for a place on the stage at BASS IN THE GRASS 2017, with Battle of the School Bands 2017.
The annual competition is open to all Northern Territory students from years 7-12, and they can perform as a solo act, duo or band. The NT Music School are the brains behind the awesomeness of Battle of the School bands and are very excited to get into this year. 2016 saw the most entrants in the history of the competition, so 2017 is looking to better that. The beuty is that this competition spreads right sccross the Top End with Heats taking place in Katherine, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy and Darwin.
The final will be held at Browns Mart Theatre on the 21 April, and this year they are very excited to announce that the whole final will be streamed live, providing the talented kids with possible worldwide exposure.
