Police have impounded a car and fined its driver following a string of alleged hooning offences in Berrimah.
Last Friday (April 25) a white Holden Commodore Ute was spotted doing a burnout on McMillans Road.
The car has now been impounded with its driver issued an infringement notice for a series of alleged offences including damaging the surface of a road and driving in a disorderly manner.
Superintendent Rick Magree says the behaviour is unacceptable.
“This behaviour is dangerous, reckless and will not be tolerated.”
“It risks not only a fine, but serious injury or death either for yourself or for others on the road,” he says.
