An adult and two teenage boys have been arrested in relation to an alleged burglary and assault on a cop.
In Palmerston on Sunday night, police received a report of a group of five entering two businesses at Bakewell Shopping Centre.
Shortly after, police caught up with them, it’s alleged a 23 year old man punched a police officer trying to do an arrest.

Three offenders are in police custody with charges expected.
