Five teenagers have been arrested after allegedly stealing two cars from a home in Rosebery yesterday.

Police say the alleged offenders fled with the cars, later breaking into a shop at Frances Bay and stole a large quantity of alcohol.

Strike Force Trident and the K9 unit chased the teens around Palmerston before they are said to have fled the vehicle.

The K9 unit was able to track the offenders to an address in Moulden where police arrested a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and three 16-year-old boys.

Investigations are continuing.
