Fresh Calls for Pill Testing at Darwin Music Festivals

There are fresh calls for pill testing to be set up at Darwin music festivals on the eve of Bass in the Grass.

The Northern Territory’s biggest music festival takes place tomorrow at Mindil Beach with the Hilltop Hoods, Hot Dub Time Machine and The Amity Affliction some of the main acts headlining the event.

The Royal Australia College of GP’s Spokesperson Dr Marguerite Tracy says with the strong opioid Nightazenes being detected in Australia, testing of drugs is crucial for festival goers.
