A male educator has been accused of indecently touching a child at a school in the Greater Darwin Region.
Police allege a child under the age of 16 was attending a vacation care program at the school on June 24 2026 and was indecently touched by the man.
The Child Abuse Taskforce commenced an investigation and arrested the 40-year-old man on June 26.
The man has been stood down from his job and investigations are ongoing on whether there is any further alleged offending linked to him.
The man was refused bail and has been charged with indecent touching or act toward a child under 16 and grooming to engage in sexual activity toward a child under 16.
He is due to front Darwin Local Court on June 29.
