A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being stabbed in front of a school in Tiwi overnight.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene just after midnight, treating the victim for a stab wound to the shoulder and neck area.
A crime scene has been established with police searching for the person responsible.

Authorities say a car was also spotted at the scene, and has now been seized for forensic examination.
