A man has died following a two-car collision on the Stuart Highway.
Police were called to the scene 12km north of Katherine at around 4:50pm yesterday (July 27).
It’s reported a truck and SUV collided, with the sole occupant of the SUV declared dead at the scene.

The 58-year-old male driver of the truck received minor injuries and is assisting police with their investigations.
The highway was closed in both directions until around 4:30 this morning (July 28) following the incident.
