Calls for information from the public following an alleged assault in Palmerston.
Police were called to Gray just before 2am yesterday morning (August 28), after reports a woman had been indecently assaulted by a stranger.
It’s further alleged the man was armed with a pair of scissors and forced the victim into an abandoned car near Wright Crescent, refusing to let her out while he assaulted her.

It’s reported the alleged offender fled the scene a short time later.
