Police are searching for four people – after a group allegedly tried to steal a cash register from a shop in Katherine.
CCTV operators identified a burglar at a store on Katherine Terrace with a group damaging the front door to gain entry early yesterday morning (April 9).
It’s alleged they stole multiple items after trying to take the till before fleeing the scene on foot.

A 16 and 24 year old have since been arrested in relation to the incident.
They remain in custody.
Efforts are ongoing to find the four other alleged offenders.
