Two teens accused of assaulting boy in his own home in Bellamack

Two teenagers have been charged over the assault of a 16-year-old boy in his own home.

It’s alleged the pair broke into the boy’s Bellamack home armed with a taser and baton and attacked him yesterday afternoon.

Police say they also went through the victim’s belongings before being disturbed by a neighbour.

The boys, aged 16 and 17, fled the scene and were later arrested at a nearby unit.

The duo, who are known to the victim, are due to face court today on a string of weapon, robbery, and drug charges.
