A 40-year-old woman has died following a suspected snake bite in Katherine.
Paramedics were called to a business on Pearce Street at around 1pm yesterday (September 1), following reports a woman had collapsed.
CPR was carried out, but the woman was declared dead at the scene.

It’s believed she suffered a snake bite to her ankle.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
