Four youths have been arrested after allegedly ram raiding a Darwin City bottle shop with stolen cars.
The group are accused of breaking into Domino’s Pizza Casuarina at 1:30am Wednesday, stealing two of the shops work vehicles – a black MG3 and a white Kia Picanto.
The youths are further accused of driving to the Celebrations bottle shop on Mitchell Street and ram raiding the business, causing extensive damage and stealing a quantity of alcohol.
The stolen cars were then later used to attempt to ram police vehicles, and during a police pursuit with the black MG3 tyre spikes were deployed near Leanyer then a second time near Jingli, with police arresting two boys age 12 and 15.
The other boys aged 13 and 16 were later arrested at a home in Bellamack.
The group currently remain in custody and are expected to be charged later today.
