Child tests positive to COVID-19 in the NT, with 22 close contacts
A child, who arrived in Darwin on a flight from Sydney has tested positive for COVID-19.
The boy went directly to Howard Springs after arriving on October 11.
There were 22 passengers on the flight who have been deemed as close contacts.
Seven passengers went straight to Howard Springs while the other 15, who are members of the Defence Force, went to the Bladin Village Quarantine Facility.
There are currently a number of children battling COVID-19 at Howard Springs.
It includes kids aged between one and 15.
