NT records 2 new cases locally, one from overseas
The Northern Territory has recorded two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the NT outbreak to 37.
Katherine's lockdown has been extended for 48 hours to 6pm Wednesday evening.
The cases include a 33-year-old woman associated with previously idenitifed cases in Katherine.
She is the mother of a boy from MacFarlane Primary School.
The child has so far tested negative for the virus.
The 33-year-old, who is fully vaccinated was infectious in the community for two days and is now in quarantine at Howards Springs.
The other case is a 67-year-old man.
