Three men linked to violent family brawl in Jingili arrested

Three men involved in a violent family brawl in Darwin's northern suburbs have been arrested.

Two allegedly feuding Wadeye families fought with sticks and an axe during the weekend brawl at Jingili, before one member drove an allegedly stolen car into another man.

An 18 and 22 year old were located and arrested in Ludmilla, and have since been charged with stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A 41-year-old also at the scene in Ludmilla attempted to evade police, but was apprehended by Patrol Dog Wedge. He has since been charged with seven offences including recklessly endangering life and unlawful use of a motor vehicle – aggravated.
