Five NT businesses broken into overnight
At least five businesses from Coolalinga to Casuarina have been broken into overnight.
Police say it was mostly small amounts of cash taken, with nothing major stolen.
Duty Superintendent Rob Harrison said officers were also involved in a pursuit with a stolen car they believe may be linked to at least one of those break ins.
Police are also investigating whether all five break ins are linked.
Meantime, Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad want to speak with anyone who helped an elderly woman who was attacked while walking back to her car on the wharf on Saturday night, so they can get a description of her offender.
The 73-year-old had just finished a sunset boat cruise and was returning to her car around 8.00pm when she was pushed to the ground.
The offender then tried to steal her handbag before they were challenged and fled.
The woman suffered fractures and bruising during what police have described as a cowardly assault.
Police are also keen to speak with anyone who witnessed a crash between a blue Holden Commodore sedan and a motorbike on the Stuart Highway at 8.30am on Saturday.
The rider suffered serious injuries.
