The Tiwi Islands and other parts of the Top End are still facing wild weather over the next couple of days despite a cyclone warning being cancelled.

The weather bureau predicts the tropical low will pass close to Darwin tomorrow morning bringing with it severe storms, including damaging wind gusts and heavy rain with the possibility of localised flash flooding.

The deluge has already pushed the Top End's bumper wet season up to the third wettest in history, with above average rainfall from October to April but the bureau's predicting sunny weather for Easter.
