No charges likely following Darwin nightclub incident
Northern Territory police say no-one is likely be charged after a man was pushed to the ground outside a Darwin nightclub, leaving him with serious head injuries.
Darren Broad was put into an induced coma after he hit his head on the ground during an incident outside Throb Nightclub at about 1.45am on Sunday.
Witnesses said Mr Broad appeared intoxicated and in an agitated state.
"A 56-year-male remains in hospital and will be spoken to by police at a later date," Detective Senior Sergeant Lee Morgan said.
"We wish him a speedy recovery."
Mr Broad's condition has improved from critical to stable, and family members have travelled from interstate to be by his side.
