Snakebite victims flown to NT hospital
A boy and man have been flown to hospital after suffering snakebites in the Northern Territory.
The man, in his early 40s, was bitten by an unidentified snake on Monday morning while with a group of workers on the Marrakai 4WD track near Batchelor.
A CareFlight crew flew him to Royal Darwin Hospital in a stable condition before flying to the small community of Robinson River in the Gulf of Carpentaria, where a 15-year-old boy suffered a suspected snakebite.
"The teenager was cared for by Robinson River Clinic staff before he was flown to Darwin ... in a stable condition," CareFlight Top End said.
