Chief Minister Michael Gunner has been bailed up by an angry business woman during a press conference in Darwin.

Mr Gunner was spruiking the Government's Public Housing Stimulus Program.

But while there he was confronted by the woman.

"My family is crumbling and nobody cares, especially you!", she said.

Mr Gunner attempted to calm the woman saying "we care" and explain the stimulus package but was quickly cut off.

"You don't!," she said.

"I was the second person registered. I'm still yet to see a job"

But The Chief Minister says the stimulus program is delivering work with $60 million of work already identified, and another $35 million to go to tender over the next six months.
