Public Tip Off Leads To DUI Bust
Nine drink drivers have been caught on Northern Territory roads this weekend.
Among them included a group of boaties.
Duty Superintendent Lee Morgan, said a tip-off from a member of the public helped catch them.
"We got a call from a member of the public who saw some people trying to load a boat onto a trailer at the Elizabeth Boat Ramp. They were clearly intoxicated. They'd been out fishing or something and drank too much. We eventually located that car in Palmerston and the driver was arrested for drink driving there," Duty Superintendent Lee Morgan said.
The driver below 0.102% and was issued with a notice to appear.
