Legendary Australian Motorbike Stunt Rider Robbie Maddison makes trek back to his homeland for a one-off Australian show at the 2019 BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown.

The internationally-renowned daredevil will take part in a number of stunts and appearances, accompanied by the Free Style Kinds FMX team, between Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th June, highlighting the calibre of entertainment on show in the Territory this June.

Maddison’s visit home kicked off with a trip to the Red Centre where he was trackside at the 2019 Tatts Finke Desert Race, as a special guest of the Northern Territory Government.

“Motorsports in the Northern Territory are some of my favourite in the world due to the world-class venues and tropical temperatures and most breath-taking natural attractions,” said Maddison.

“I want to thank the Northern Territory Government for bringing me to the Red Centre for the Tatts Finke Desert Race and Darwin for the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown.

“The Territory offers experiences you cannot get anywhere else and I hope everybody can join me at Supercars for a massive, action-packed weekend.”

Aside from a jam-packed racing program at Hidden Valley, locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy a wide range of pre-event attractions and entertainment in the city including the popular Night Supercars Transporter Convoy, drivers’ signing sessions and much more.

Hidden Valley will also host post-race concerts, with some of Australia’s biggest names in music set to take the stage including Jimmy Barnes, The Veronicas, Illy, Briggs, Vera Blue, DT3 and Ezekiel Ox.

The Northern Territory Major Events Company General Manager Tim Watsford is thrilled to host Maddison in the Territory for his only Australian visit.

“The Northern Territory is a premier destination for motorsports enthusiasts with numerous world-class events such as the Tatts Finke Desert Race in the Red Centre and the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown in the Top End,” said Watsford.

“This year we are extremely lucky to have Australian motorbike stunt rider Robbie Maddison at both events, partaking in a number of public appearances in Alice Springs and stunt displays in Darwin.

“We are proud to support and deliver events such as Finke and the Supercars as they give a significant boost to our economy, support local businesses and ultimately put money back into the pockets of Territorians.”

Motorsports enthusiasts in Darwin will be able to witness the internationally renowned daredevil’s thrilling stunt displays as part of the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown city activations, before he takes part in a number of public signing sessions at Hidden Valley Raceway.

In its 21st year, the 2019 BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown will be held at Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin from 14-16 June 2019.
