Car seized in probe of Qld doctor's murder

A stolen car allegedly used to transport the accused killers of a Brisbane doctor has been seized from the backyard of a Queensland home.

Detectives found the 2013 Hyundai Elantra while searching a Gloxinia Street property in Kingston, south of Brisbane, on Saturday.

They allege it was used by the three accused to get to the MacGregor home of 56-year-old Luping Zeng, who was fatally shot in his garage on Monday night.

Joshua Hamilton, 19, Billy Smith, 20, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with Dr Zeng's murder.

They are also facing charges of entering a dwelling with intent, attempted robbery with violence, possession of shortened firearms and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The car will undergo a forensic examination.
