Kardashian embarked on her legal studies in 2018 through California’s “reading the law” program, which allows individuals to study under the supervision of a practicing attorney instead of attending a traditional law school. Over six years, she committed approximately 18 hours per week, totaling over 5,000 hours of legal study, all while managing her businesses, television career, and raising four children.

Her journey included passing the First-Year Law Students’ Examination, commonly known as the “baby bar,” on her fourth attempt in December 2021. She has also completed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE), a requirement for bar admission in California.

To commemorate her graduation, Kardashian held a private backyard ceremony attended by close family and friends, including her children and sisters Khloé and Kourtney. The event featured personalized touches such as placemats made from her old study flashcards and a cake inspired by the film “Legally Blonde.”

Mentors praised her dedication, with attorney Jessica Jackson highlighting Kardashian’s unwavering commitment to justice reform and her ability to balance multiple responsibilities while pursuing her legal education.

While this graduation marks a significant step, Kardashian still needs to pass the California Bar Exam to become a licensed attorney. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to criminal justice reform and continues the legal legacy of her father, Robert Kardashian Sr.
