The team at Solitaired worked out a boredom score for each place, zeroing in on 11 keywords to figure out which spots are the least exciting.
The research took a close look at 66.7 million reviews from 3,290 attractions on Google, covering 71 countries and 384 cities.
What’s interesting is that the study didn’t just look at the star ratings. Instead, it searched for how often words like “tiresome”, “lifeless,” and “boring” popped up in the reviews..
American spots dominated the top seven, but Shrek’s Adventure London managed to grab eighth.
Out of the top 25, four Legoland Discovery Centres made the list, with Melbourne’s own sliding in at 24th.
