Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi‘s wedding had a very special musical guest.
The Stranger Things star, 21, recently shared new details about her October 2024 wedding to the 23-year-old model, who is the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. While the couple officially married in a secret, “low-key” ceremony with close family months earlier, they held a larger celebration in Italy in October, according to People.
A highlight of the wedding reception was a performance by Grammy-nominated artist RAYE. She played a significant role in a special moment between Brown and her father, Robert.
“RAYE performed, which was amazing,” Brown said. “She performed my dad and I’s daddy-daughter dance. She did all Frank Sinatra, it was amazing, so epic.”
The Enola Holmes actress also shared that she and her new husband had a memorable dance routine of their own.
“When Jake proposed, I was like, ‘We have to learn a dance routine. We’ll remember it forever and when the song comes on when we’re 80, we’ll remember it. It’s going to be so special,'” she recalled. After deciding against a risky lift from Dirty Dancing, the couple chose a six-minute medley from Grease.
Their performance was a hit with the wedding guests. “People were like, ‘Oh my god, you can tell she’s an actor,'” she said. “It was so much fun. It was amazing.”
Since their wedding, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have also started a new chapter as parents. In August, they announced the adoption of their “sweet baby girl.” Brown has since stated her intention to keep details about their daughter private to protect her from public scrutiny.
