John Rambo is returning.
The Russo Brothers, the brothers who brought Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame to life, are set to produce the reboot of Rambo. The franchise which originally starred Sylvester Stallone will now be rebooted with Noah Centineo filling the boots of Rambo.
The prequel-reboot will be directed by Sisu Jalmari Helander with the script written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. The film which was announced and confirmed by Lionsgate and Millennium Media on Thursday, will tell the tale of John Rambo during the Vietnam War, before the events of First Blood.

The film is set to start filming early 2026.
