Yikes. Not the best look.

Grocery shopping has been a stressful endeavour across the country at the moment with the growing cost of living crisis and inflation sweeping the nation. The best way to work around these issues is to bargain hunt, shop for deals that in the long run might save you an extra buck or two. Well, one popular Aussie Supermarket has been called out for their potentially misleading signage.

Frequent Harris Farm shopper and TikToker Alex Begnell from Thrive Health Coaching has jumped on the social media app to call out the grocer for their in-store signage. In the video in question Bennell finds a deal which advertises two punnets of cherry tomatoes for $5. But the labeled price underneath the bargain price has them listed at $2.50 per punnet. Basically stating you can save a total of $0.00 for taking advantage of this “special”. She then went to point out that they had also advertised mangoes for $2.99 each OR you can get them special for two for $6, which means you’ll actually be paying an extra $0.02 for this special. You can check out the video below.
