Why Hugh Jackman Turned Down James Bond
Hugh Jackman has revealed why he turned down the role as James Bond back in the early 2000's.
In a recent interview with 'Variety' he admitted that he couldn't get on board the blockbuster movie franchise because of the “crazy” scripts.
He said “I was about to do X-Men 2 and a call came from my agent asking if I'd be interested in Bond. I just felt at the time that the scripts had become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become more grittier and real.”
He also stated that if he signed on for Bond and continued to do X-Men, he wouldn't have any time to try different things.
Daniel Craig is the current James Bond who is currently preparing for his final role as James Bond.
