A man has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident in Palmerston.
Police were called to a property in Gray at 12.30am on Saturday (May 18), following reports a man was chasing a woman outside a unit block on Cornwallis Circuit.
It’s alleged the woman ran into a bedroom, where the man attacked her with a broken bottle.
The woman was taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
The alleged offender was arrested a short time later, charged with unlawfully cause serious harm and fail to rescue.
The man and woman are believed to be known to each other.
