Northern Territory Police have charged a 51-year old man with drink driving in Palmerston.
Shortly after 3am Tuesday 8 November 2022, Palmerston General Duties officers were conducting road safety policing duties in the vicinity of Gateway Shopping Centre, where there stopped a vehicle travelling along Toupien Road, Yarrawonga.
The driver undertook a roadside breath test, which returned a positive reading. He was arrested and conveyed to the Palmerston Police Station Watch House for further breath analysis returning a reading of .209% BrAC.
He has been charged with:
· Drive high range
As a result of the charge his licence was disqualified by police, the man will face Darwin Local Court at a later date.
