Teen charged after scaling the fence at Crocodylus Park, stealing a car and crashing it

A teenage boy has been arrested after allegedly scaling the fence at Crocodylus Park and stealing a company car.

The 17-year-old went on to allegedly crashed the Landcruiser Ute into a tree on Foundation Road on Monday night.

Strike Force Trident Detectives identified him on CCTV and arrested the teen at his home.

He has since been charged with trespassing, aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and driving without care.

The 17-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to face Darwin Local Court today.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with police calling for information and dash cam footage of the vehicle driving along McMillans Road with no number plates.
