A woman has been killed from a large tree branch falling on her in Darwin.
St John Ambulance attended the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens at 12:50pm Sunday, but the 28-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old man has also suffered serious injuries from the tree branch, and was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.

The gardens, including the cafe and visitor information centre, currently remain closed to the public following the fatality, and NT Police have cordoned off the scene.
