Police have arrested three people after a woman was violently robbed in her own home.
At around 3:15am Friday it’s alleged 3 females – aged 14, 16, and 18 – assaulted the woman, where they held her up with a sharp object, kicking and punching the woman before she fell to the ground.
Police allege the offenders then stole car keys and bags from inside the home, before driving the victims car around the northern suburbs.
Members from Strike Force Trident and The Dog Squad went on pursuit for the group, where the offenders then fled on foot in the bushland around Leanyer.
Police found two of the offenders around Leanyer, and a short time later arrested the third in Casuarina.
The trio currently remain in custody and are expected to be charged with aggravated robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving offences.
The woman who was attacked is currently receiving medical treatment.
