Year Round Up – The Biggest Australian Stories of 2025

It’s over, another year in the bag and heavens above I hope 2026 is better than 2025. So much happened in 2025, the US went through a troubled year that effected the whole world, Prince Andrew was stripped of his title, the Epstein files were dragged across the whole year, ongoing conflicts in the middle-east and Europe, and that damn Astronomer CEO couldn’t just keep it cool on camera. All this was just what happened overseas, but do you remember everything that happened here on our own little island?

Australia had a lot happen in the span of just 12-months, and with the year finally over let’s review everything that happened this year for Australia by month. Our year wasn’t as explosive as some of our neighbours across the pond but we still had a big year (some months were for sure bigger than others).
