A woman has died after being allegedly physically assaulted in a remote Indigenous community.
Police received reports from the local clinic in Alpurrurulam at 5.30am Monday morning of the woman’s death.
Local police, along with assistance from Avon Downs police, are currently responding to the incident with detectives from the Crime Command and Forensics travelling to the community.
